CLPE was tasked by the City of Long Beach to conduct an investment grade audit for key city-owned facilities with focus on potential for solar PV systems. CLPE reviewed energy demand, usage, and site conditions and narrowed down to 3 facilities for economical energy conservation measures (ECMs). CLPE then conducted a detailed investment grade audit of the three facilities and developed three ECMs – 225kWdc solar PV, 60 LED light fixture conversions, and one meter upgrade to separate street lighting system.
