The CLP Engineering team is proud to announce a new microgrid planning project with the City of Aspen. Our goal is to support the City in achieving a greater level of electric utility resilience through onsite energy resources and grid enhancements. With CLPE’s microgrid expertise, we plan to identify the best way to minimize impacts during long-term grid outages in the most cost-effective way.
CLPE is working with the Arkansas River Power Authority (ARPA) and City of Springfield on an exciting new grant-assisted microgrid planning project. We are excited to work with the City of Springfield team and deliver their project needs.
CLP Engineering is working with Matrix Design Group team on their Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) MIRR study project under a partnership between Alamo Area Council Governments (AACOG), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), CPS Energy, San Antonio Water Systems (SAWS). The main objective is to support the long-term resilience and sustainability of missions on JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, JBSA-Lackland AFB, Port San Antonio, Kelly Field, and the surrounding communities.
CLP Engineering is working on a new microgrid planning project with the City of Delta. The scope of the project includes a assessment and planning of electric grid upgrades, on-site generation including combined heat and power (CHP) natural gas generator, solar PV, and energy storage to provide resiliency to the Recreation Center and nearby community. Through planning and development of this microgrid project we hope to help the city achieve sustainability and energy resilience during extended regional outages.
